Extended Reality (XR) refers to technologies that blend the digital and physical worlds to create interactive learning environments. While many people associate XR with VR headsets and gaming, URXR explores how immersive learning environments, AI, and real-world experiences can work together to help people practice new ways of thinking, collaborating, and solving problems.

Our XR + AI projects combine digital simulations, embodied experiences, machine learning, and behavioral science to create tools and environments for humans to experiment with the skills required for the future of work and accelerate IRL application.

Evolution Express

Solarwood is a "future of work" prototype designed as a solarpunk town in Spatial.io. In Solarwood, learners can gather or explore independently to complete actions that support the adoption of the Human+ Mindset. Learners can also experience Solarwood IRL at the OI Leadership Retreat.

Evolution Express

Evolution Express is a Minecraft-based XR simulation designed to help learners develop AI fluency. Players ride from stop to stop, completing increasingly advanced Applied AI challenges along the way, ultimately arriving at "Robot Junction" in Solarwood.
